I even purchased a fan to install over the back of the camera. It still overheats when shooting video for extended periods (more than 20 minutes) in any amount of heat.

Thoughts on Canon R50 overheating
I've been using it for a few years now and found that it tends to overheat easily. I was out on a walk the other day and it began to give me temperature warnings about an hour into shooting photos. It wasn't even that hot out, maybe high 60s to low 70s.
Thoughts?
